The CAN FD adapter for Airbag Service Tool allows you to repair SRS modules on the table (removing crash date).
It is required for sensors based on the FD CAN communication protocol.
The FD CAN communication protocol can be found in cars such as KIA, Hyundai, GM group, Ford, VAG group and Volvo.

How to install
1. Connect the CAN FD adapter to SmartOBD.
2. Run the AST CAN software and wait for the FW update to version 2.5
3. Select KIA or HYUNDAI ( CAN FD ) and click the "do it" button.
4. Wait for the message "CAN FD adapter connected... ok"
5. Ready to use CAN FD adapter.
ATTENTION:
One CAN FD adapter can only work with one SmartOBD CAN tool.
Cannot be exchanged for other equipment.
