Find and remove BCM module. The BCM is usually located under the instrument panel, over the driver's or passenger's footwells, or under the passenger's footwell.
Disconnect all BCM connectors and remove it. Solder SPEEDSTOP inside the BCM wires according instructions. Exist few BCM board versions:
Speed indicator and active cruise control (ACC) works when SPEEDSTOP is activated, odometer is freezed.
Using SPEEDSTOP on Opel: (hazard indicator on speedometer blinks every time when working mode are changed):
- Press 4x High beam light switch - (hazard indicator on cluster blinks 1 time) = Odometer freezed, Speedometer show actual speed, Cruise control works fine;
- Press 4x High beam light switch - (hazard indicator on cluster blinks 2 time) = back to normal mode, Odometer and Speedometer works normal.
After Ignition OFF/ON SPEEDSTOP keeps selected working mode.
If you remove SPEEDSTOP adapter after test drive, odometer not changing.
