The FiCOM value setting module allows you to change the car's mileage in both directions, up and down. This feature is useful in many situations (usually when replacing an instrument cluster or engine), however it can also be used for odometer/mileage changes (rollbacks), which are considered fraudulent in many countries (usually when a vehicle seller falsely states the actual mileage vehicle to the buyer). FiCOM users are prohibited from using the odometer correction function for fraudulent purposes. If this feature is not permitted by the laws of your country, you must not purchase or install the FiCOM module.
