The complete package of Mercedes-Benz vehicles includes licenses MN030, MN032, MN033, MN034, MN035, and MN037. Below you can see what each of them includes as functionalities.

License MN037 enables unprecedented calibration of IC177 clusters in Mercedes-Benz vehicles.

This software license does not affect the EZS module and is significantly safer and easier to use.

The EZS module is not even necessary during the procedure; all work is performed on the IC177 cluster.

The procedure requires working with the IC177 module's PCB bench, desoldering a few capacitors, and soldering wires to the CB501 cable. Wiring diagrams will be available in the software.

To connect to the IC177 cluster, a ZN085 RH850/V850 programmer and ZN092 adapter are required.

Everyone who purchases the MN037 license now will receive activation links and will be able to use it starting December 16, 2024!

An AVDI with an active AMS is required to use this feature.

MN035 VGS4-NAG2 FBS4 virgin/personalization through the ABPROG license is dedicated to working with the VGS4-NAG2 7G-Tronic TCU of the FBS4/DAS4 generation.

Functionalities:

• Read FBS4 data from VGS4-NAG2 modules using ABPROG
• Set VGS4-NAG2 modules to factory state using ABPROG
• Write FBS4 personalization data to TCU using ABPROG. Writing is also available through the internal CAN-BUS for MN034 owners.
• The ZN030 ABPROG programmer, AVDI, and Active AMS are required!

License MN034 FBS4 Personalization Expert allows for easy personalization of ALL modules from the FBS4 generation of Mercedes DAS (Drive Authorization System).

The personalization expert has virtually no limitations in its scope! It is designed to work with MN032. Because of this, they must cooperate. Personalization occurs through the internal CAN bus of the control modules. Indeed, this same simple personalization is also possible for DSM and VGS modules without the need to open the module or connect a programmer.

NB! Due to the specifics of DSM production and VGS4-NAG, they require prior virginization on the bench using AVDI and ABPROG.

The Personalization Expert surpasses all current knowledge and overcomes the issues plaguing the diagnostic world for nearly a decade.

Here’s why MN034 is truly exceptional:

• No exceptions in the production of control modules. No more problems and limitations caused by changes in production year and manufacturer restrictions. MRD1, MRG1, CRR2, EMS71, VGS4NAG2 (requires factory state before adaptation), DSM (requires factory state before adaptation), electric motors, hybrid engines, etc., all using the internal CAN bus.
• Our personalization specialist eliminates the problem when the old control unit is missing!
• The personalization specialist generates special FBS4 data and uses it to complete the personalization process.
• In its current, first iteration, MN034 allows personalization of MED177, MED1775, MED40, CR40, CR41, CR42, CR43, CR60LS, CR61 ECUs via OBDII when NO PREVIOUS PERSONALIZATION DATA IS AVAILABLE!
• The list of supported control modules for personalization in the absence of the old module will be continuously updated as progress is made.
• Currently, MN032 and MN034 have partial limitations for W223/W206-based models.

This is still the first version of MN034. Our reach for these models will be expanded after the release of an additional communication adapter for AVDI.

MN033 is dedicated to resolving the "ELV Component Fault" issue that prevents the vehicle from starting and driving.

This is a common failure in electronic steering lock (ESL/ELV) modules. MN033 allows the removal of the critical error that blocks the vehicle's electronic steering lock.

This functionality is performed through direct connection to the ELV diagnostic line. It can be done directly in the vehicle or on the bench!

Supported vehicles:

• ALL FBS4 vehicles with ESL/ELV modules!
• For this license, the use of the ZN151 ABRITES distribution box is recommended.
• MN032 is a Mercedes FBS4 software license designed by Abrites from the ground up as a world leader in the exchange of Mercedes-Benz vehicle modules for both new and used control units.

Here’s what you can use MN032 for:

• Set FBS4 electronic control units to factory state
• Read personalization data from FBS4 control modules and save it to a file
• Program personalization data from a previously saved file to the FBS4 control module
• Activate FBS4 control modules
• Display the status of FBS4 control modules, including those fitted in hybrid and electric vehicles without disassembly
• VIN programming

Currently supported FBS4 control modules:

via OBDII - Read FBS4 data, Program FBS4 data (Personalize), set all MED17, EDC17, SID310, Delphi-CRD3 ECUs (CR40, CR41, CR42, CR43, CR6, CR60, CR61, MED40, MED41, MED177, MED1773, MED1775, CRR1, CRR1, CRR1, CRD3, CRD3S2) to factory state. 48V starter generators are also fully supported via OBDII. Those we are sure of and have tested are type INV20EM01 and their derivatives (hybrid vehicles).

OBDII support for reading FBS4 data from all MRD1, MRG1, MRG2, CRR2, EMS71 (without production year restrictions!)

Bench and ZN051 Ability to connect the distribution box to the unit includes - set to factory state MRD1, MRG1, CRR2 (confirmed for those produced before 2021).

ZN051 Distribution box/ ZN030 ABPROG and Bench connection to the unit - support for all DSM/DSM222 and VGS-DCT (dual-clutch transmission) and VGSNAG3 (9G-Tronic) controllers.

ECU MRD1, MRG1 (confirmed for those produced until 2021) – bench connection using ZN051.

• CB030 Mercedes-Benz MD1/MG1 ECU connection cable to FBS4 Manager and ECU programming tools

MN030 is the latest development dedicated to calibrating the odometer and module replacement via OBDII for dashboards of FBS4 vehicles equipped with an IC213 or IC222 dashboard.
