The diagnostic interface is required for vehicle diagnostics and can be used together with the "Offboard Diagnostic Information System service" and "Offboard Diagnostic Information System engineering".

The improved diagnostic interface performs diagnostic functions in modern vehicles at full speed of the CAN FD bus. Configuration is conveniently performed via the web-based user interface.

The USB module has a robust USB connector with nine pins instead of seven. It can therefore

be connected directly to the VAS 6150F, which means that it is no longer necessary to use the VAS 652 009 adapter

with the VAS 6154B. To connect old laptops – VAS 6105E or older – use the adapter VAS 652 011.
