Mat emulator is a sensor imitating the occupation of a passenger seat.  It was designed for one purpose - so that at the time of an accident, the passenger airbag worked.

The emulator is designed for cars: BMW (E31, E34, E36, E38, E39, E46, E65, E66, Z3 - E36, X5 - E53)

If the mat in your car is damaged on the dashboard, you will see a message in the form of a red airbag symbol.

The emulator sends the signal to the airbag driver the same as the mat when the passenger is in the passenger seat. Once the emulator is installed, the occupancy system will work normally; the passenger airbag will work properly during an accident.

Installation of the device is very simple:

Disconnect the car battery (recommended). 

Push the seat forward and find the connector.

Detach the connector and plug in the device.

Ready! Now re-connect the battery.

IMPORTANT!

After mounting the device, it is necessary to clear the error on the dashboard.

This can be done using a diagnostic computer - a service provided by practically every car workshop.
