For Toyota year 2014+ cars drive test or dyno test. While car drive test is possible to stop (freeze) odometer counting.
! Soldering is required in the installation process !
- Auris, Avensis, Corolla 2014-2018;
- Corolla 2019+;
- RAV4 2014-2018;
- RAV4 2019+;
- possibly with others Toyota models, but not tested;
The device was tested with older (up to year 2014) vehicles, Speedstop device works and odometer stops counting but indication of the device activation does not work.
It is recommended to activate the device while driving to see if it is activated and working properly.
Remove instrument cluster. Disconnect cluster black connector. Solder SPEEDSTOP inside the cluster or on car wires according instructions.
Speedometer works correctly all time in SPEEDSTOP mode, just odometer not counting.
Using SPEEDSTOP on Toyota 2014-2018: (High beam light on cluster will blink every time when working mode are changed):
Please solder JUMP on SPEEDSTOP like in picture (marked Yellow) !
- Push 4x High beam light switch (lights must be switched OFF) (High beam light on cluster will blink 1x ) = Odometer freezed, speedometer, cruise other functions works fine;
- Push 4x High beam light switch (lights must be switched OFF) (High beam light on cluster will blink 2x ) = SPEEDSTOP function is OFF, instrument cluster works like usually;
Using SPEEDSTOP on Toyota 2018+ : (Left-Right turn lights will blink on speedometer sound every time when working mode are changed):
Please solder JUMP on SPEEDSTOP like in picture (marked Yellow) !
- Push quickly 4x High beam light switch (lights must be switched OFF) ( Left-Right turn lights on cluster will blink once) = Odometer freezed, speedometer, cruise other functions works fine;
- Push quickly 4x High beam light switch (lights must be switched OFF) ( Left-Right turn lights on cluster will blink 2x ) = SPEEDSTOP function is OFF, instrument cluster works like usually;

After Ignition OFF/ON SPEEDSTOP keeps selected working mode.
If you remove SPEEDSTOP adapter after test drive, odometer not changing.
