For Audi A4 analogue 2016+ cars testing. While car drive test is possible to stop (freeze) odometer counting.
Plug and Play device with easiest connection way possible, no soldering is required in the installation process.
Works with :
- Audi Q5 2016+ (8W5 model) . Works with Analog speedometer;
- Audi A4 2016+ (8W model) . Works with Analog speedometer; If your A4 instrument cluster is digital - use this SPEEDSTOP
How to install:
Plug and Play device with easiest connection way possible, no soldering is required in the installation process. Remove instrument cluster - look video how to do this. Disconnect cluster grey connector and remove plastic cover from connector. Now put this cover on SPEEDSTOP female connector. SPEEDSTOP male connector connect to car cluster connector - check twice connectors orientation - on both connectors one side have trail - look picture. Use additional cable ties for fixing connectors.
Speedometer not work correctly in SPEEDSTOP MODE1 and MODE2, speed poinder drops down after while.
Using SPEEDSTOP on Audi: (hazard indicator on speedometer blinks every time when working mode are changed):
- MODE1 - Push 3x Return button (hazard indicator on cluster blinks 1 time) = Odometer freezed, Speedometer works sporadically;
- MODE2 - Push 3x Return button (hazard indicator on cluster blinks 2 time) = Odometer count 10%, Speedometer works sporadically;
- MODE3 - Push 3x Return button (hazard indicator on cluster blinks 3 time) = Odometer count 10km after 100km of drive test, Speed indicator show 10% of actual speed ; <-- Use this option for A4 analogue
- Back to nornal operation MODE - Push 3x Return button (hazard indicator on cluster blinks 4 time) = back to normal mode, Odometer and Speedometer works normal.
After Ignition OFF/ON SPEEDSTOP keeps selected working mode.
If you remove SPEEDSTOP adapter after test drive, odometer not changing.
