SPEEDSTOP works with latest 2019+ Audi models? - Yes, it works! But check first if you ordering rigth SPEEDSTOP model - read "Works with:" ! For some analogue clusters versions please order this SPEEDSTOP
Plug and Play device with easiest connection way possible, no soldering is required in the installation process. Remove instrument cluster - look video how to do this. Disconnect cluster grey connector and remove plastic cover from connector. Now put this cover on SPEEDSTOP female connector. SPEEDSTOP male connector connect to car cluster connector - check twice connectors orientation - on both connectors one side have trail - look picture. Use additional cable ties for fixing connectors.
Speedometer works correctly all time, just odometer slow down - after 100km drive test odometer will turn 2km.
Using SPEEDSTOP on Audi: (hazard indicator on speedometer blinks every time when working mode are changed):
- Push 3x Return button (hazard indicator on cluster blinks 1 time) = Odometer freezed, Speedometer shows actual speed;
- Push 3x Return button (hazard indicator on cluster blinks 2 time) = Odometer counts 33% of driven distance (33km counted after 100km), Speedometer shows actual speed;
- Push 3x Return button (hazard indicator on cluster blinks 3 time) = back to normal mode, Odometer and Speedometer works as normal.
After Ignition OFF/ON SPEEDSTOP keeps selected working mode.
If you remove SPEEDSTOP adapter after test drive, odometer not changing.
